PathLab Medical Laboratories
Ltd is pleased to announce that it has been awarded
HOKLAS / ISO accreditation for over 100 laboratory tests
in Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology and Microbiology
disciplines.
This means that PathLab's quality management
system and working practices meet the requirements
of ISO 15189:2003.

The Preventive
Health Screens that PathLab provides are comprehensive
and tailored to different needs.
If you want to have a health screen, we recommend
that you see your doctor for a physical examination
and a doctor's order for laboratory tests.

Third generation IgE allergy
testing is done at PathLab using DPC's new 3gAllergy™
method on the Immulite 2000. The 3gAllergy™ method
is the first FDA-cleared third-generation allergy test.
It is a quantitative test, that has a sensitivity
of 0.1 kU/L.
PathLab has created four profiles of allergens appropriate
for this area. We offer the South China, Environmental,
Food and Pediatric profiles.
Discuss these tests with your doctor, who can order
a profile, or individual allergens.

PathLab has been selected
by YORKTEST Laboratories Ltd (UK) as
the only testing lab in Southeast Asia for performing
the YORKTEST in-house. We offer the
FoodScan IgG 113 Food Intolerance Test.
The YORKTEST may be
useful for persons suffering from chronic medical
conditions of unknown cause, who respond poorly to
conventional medical intervention.
YORKTEST Laboratories
monitors PathLab's testing quality with a regular
External Quality Assurance Program.

Our Pap
test center, (CytoLab Pap Test Screening Centre),
is supervised by Pathologists with MedLab Consultations
Ltd.
Our Pap Testing includes several types:
- AutoCyte Liquid-based Pap
- ThinPrep Liquid-based Pap

We also perform HPV & Chlamydia DNA testing
on the same Pap specimen vial.
