1. Macroscopic analysis for blood by dipstick detects both hemolysed and non-hemolysed blood whereas microsopic analysis for blood detects intact RBCs only.
2. Urine Specific Gravity value of <1.001 indicates very dilute sample.
3. Any bacteria detected would depend on sample collection and should be correlated with clinical symptoms. Follow up with culture if clinically indicated, preferably using another mid-stream clean catch sample.
