Accredited Excellence (Registration No. 805S)
PathLab is an accredited medical laboratory under the Hong Kong Accreditation Service (HKAS) in accordance with ISO 15189:2022 standards.
This world-recognized accreditation is awarded only after stringent on-site inspections by HOKLAS-approved pathologists and scientists from Hong Kong and overseas. Our policies, procedures, records, Internal Quality Control, and External Quality Assurance Programs (EQAP) are all rigorously audited to maintain this status. Because HOKLAS has concluded mutual recognition arrangements (MRA) with most countries worldwide, our results carry global credibility.

Accreditation Surveillance & Data Privacy
To maintain our standing and ensure ongoing compliance with international requirements, PathLab participates in regular surveillance processes.
- HKAS Access: As part of the accreditation and surveillance process, HKAS may access certain laboratory records and information, including those related to individual test requests.
- Client Agreement: By using our laboratory services, clients acknowledge and agree that relevant information and documents may be made available to HKAS for the sole purpose of assessing our compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Data Security: All information accessed by HKAS will be handled with strict confidentiality and used only for accreditation assessment.
- Privacy Commitment: We remain committed to protecting patient privacy and ensuring that all personal data is managed in accordance with applicable privacy laws and professional standards.
