1. This test may not detect upper GI bleeding, but has high specificity for lower GI bleeding. |
2. Due to its high sensitivity, samples should not be collected during or until three days after a menstrual period, during the presence of bleeding hemorrhoids or blood in the urine. |
3. Positive results should be correlated with clinical observations. Repeat sample collection if necessary. |
