EBV VCA-IgA Ab is a sensitive screening marker for NPC in Asians. High titers of EBV VCA-IgA Ab are useful in combination with other EBV IgA antibodies to increase specificity and to predict risk of nasopharyngeal carcinoma in high-risk populations.
